No new contract agreed on between union and Kaiser Permanente

Talks between Kaiser Permanente Hawaii and Unite Here Local 5 union workers ended Thursday with no agreement on a new contract. “Kaiser rejected the workload proposal … we gave them at our last bargaining session on February 18, as well as the pension proposal we gave them last night,” said union spokeswoman Paola Rodelas.
