UNITE HERE Local 5 is a progressive labor union in Hawai’i. Because we represent the workforce of the state’s main industry, tourism, and because we have a deep commitment to the growth of the labor movement, working at Local 5 provides an opportunity to have a great impact on the struggle to better Hawai’i’s communities and to set the pace for the labor movement statewide.
