MORE LOCAL 5 MEMBERS from striking hotels and supporting properties joined our picket lines to KEEP OUR STRIKE STRONG!!
Support for our strikers grew – More guests, community & local elected leaders (including State Reps. Amy Perruso, Della Au Belatti & City Councilors Radiant Cordero, Tyler Dos Santos Tam & Esther Kiaaina) joined our line. One guest even donated $650 to our L5 Hardship Fund, while others checked out of the hotels!
Our union siblings from the ILWU & UFCW donated over 150 cases of water, nurses from HNA shared ice-cream, and many more joined our pickets!
And dozens of our Local 5 members have been featured in local and NATIONAL news!
