On April 11, The Legal Clinic recognized Local 5 as a “Guardian of Immigrant Justice.”
We are proud to be one of have partnered with The Legal Clinic over the years to facilitate citizen workshops for hundreds of local residents. A third of Local 5 members are immigrants from Asian and Pacific nations, and uplifting the immigrant community has always been one of our top priorities.
