The inspector did not observe a staff person telling these people to put a mask on. |
Plexiglas (or other) barriers | The front desk had Plexiglas barriers covering only a small square portion of the desk leaving large exposed gaps on all sides (see photo below). |
Hand sanitizer | The hotel entrance, public women’s bathroom, coffee shop, bar, and water refill station did not have hand sanitizer stations. The water refill station requires you to press a button to dispense the water. |
Social distancing | The coffee shop, bar, and water refill station did not have markings on the floor to promote social distancing.
The lobby had chairs and seating that were not spaced 6 feet apart or more. |
Signage | Local 5’s inspector spotted 4 signs explaining the hotel policy expectations for guests for social distancing, PPE, etc. |
Other issues | The coffee station had creamers, stir-sticks, sugar, lids, and sleeves out for customers to grab themselves.
There was a used towel bin that was not enclosed (see photo below). |
