Kaiser Permanente sterile processing techs fight for work opportunities

Four sterile processing technicians at Kaiser Permanente Moanalua were denied a work opportunity and won a total of 44.5 hours of back pay with the help of their committee leader Luz Visaya and shop steward Hollie Nakaahiki.
Many technicians work two jobs. They have the heart and dedication to ensure the safety of our patients by properly sterilized instruments. To achieve the #BestJobsBestCare is to prioritize staffing support and hiring.
Congrats to Luz Visaya, Chris Ocerto, Jill Acoba, and Romie Battad for fighting for and winning your work opportunities and back pay!
