While working, a drawer at the front desk fell on HHV Front Desk worker Amy Tam’s foot. She immediately reported the injury to her manager. Amy decided not to pursue any workers’ comp claim. Nonetheless, the Employer fired Amy because it claimed she lied about the injury. CET filed a grievance and was on the eve of arbitrating the case when the Employer agreed to pay her $30,000 walk-away. Congratulations to CET and Amy for fighting!
