Kaiser Members: Contract Ratified!

On Tuesday, October 13, we ratified a new 3-year contract coming in with a resounding 98.5% yes vote. Congratulations to all for coming out and casting your ballots. Special thanks to those who came to and participated in negotiations to help secure this contract. Here are some highlights:

• Retain our pensions and those of new hires
• Retain no monthly medical premiums and free retiree medical
• No increase in medical co-payments
• Wage increase of 9.5% over 3 years
• One-time lump-sum bonus based on compensable wages earned
• No adjustment of seniority due to absences over 1 month except for vacation and LOA eligibility
