Shop Steward Jason Timbresa from the Royal Hawaiian filed a grievance for Bellman losing porterage on a 6,000 member group of visitors. When they realized bellmen at other Kyo-Ya properties were also denied porterage, Jason and the Contract Enforcement Team amended the grievance to include all Kyo-ya properties. Grievants Jason Timbresa, Randy Kitagawa, Trisha Nonura-Bumagat, and Les Tanabe met with General Manager Kelly Sanders. The GM apologized and agreed to backpay bellmen at each property a total of almost $15,000.
