Local 5 member celebrates our American Rescue Plan win, covering 100% COBRA premium coverage

Hyatt Regency Waikiki worker and UNITE HERE Local 5 member Deborah Ritchey talks about her struggle paying for medical coverage since being furloughed in March 2020 due to COVID-19. But because of UNITE HERE’s work to #TakeBack2020​ and win the Presidency and Congress, the American Rescue Plan was passed which covers 100% COBRA premium coverage through September 2021.
