Waikiki Beach Marriott workers win Plexiglass barriers at pool deck bar & grill
VICTORY: Workers have been asking management for Plexiglas barriers at the Waikiki Beach Marriott’s temporary bar and grill by the pool deck. The hotel finally installed it recently, months after workers began asking for it. Bartenders and cooks felt this was an important COVID safety, especially if guests at the pool were to approach the work stations without face masks.
