In February, we announced that Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) William L. Schmidt ruled that The Modern Honolulu violated workers’ labor law rights. The Employer attempted to challenge the ALJ’s decision but, as we expected, the NLRB in Washington DC upheld the decision. Congratulations (again) to the workers of The Modern Honolulu!

Management has acknowledged that these workers have consistently worked five days a week, at least four hours a day. They won their promotion according to our CBA.
