Misty Okuda is a waithelp at Tropics in Hilton Hawaiian Village. Her employer was not scheduling her according to her seniority rights, so she filed a grievance with the Contract Enforcement Team. Misty won her grievance and $399.37 in back pay plus tips. “Thank you Local 5 for never giving up,” says Misty.

Hilton Hawaiian Village guest assistant fights for her seniority rights

Rayline Ancog, a Guest Assistant at Hilton Hawaiian Village, was not offered two overtime shifts that she should have been offered because of her seniority. She filed two grievances with the Contract Enforcement Team and won a total of 16 hours of pay at the overtime rate.
